The CitySitting so
proudly on the edge of the horizon
the skyline of the city sits lost in a haze
clouded not just by pollution in the air
but also clouded by the err of its ways
Loose and untamed the streets roar with anger
A lion unchallenged and roaming the soil
Or maybe a frog in a pan full of water
Slowly and cluelessly brought to a boil
