Walking the three mile beach route to Race Point Light

Finally arriving at Race Point Light


After "seeing the light" we found a shorter route through the dunes
that would return us to our car. This route was only two and a half miles!


Even though it was shorter, the dune route, with its softer sand,
proved to be an exercise in endurance.
