The Nor'easter of '99
This was the biggest storm (20") to hit the Cape in almost 15 years.
At one point there was 4 and 3/4 inches of snow of the SIDES of the
trees!! The snow began Wednesday night 11pm, and it stopped Friday
before noon. Saturday afternoon, however, we spent an hour at the beach.
It's definitely weird to spend that much time at the beach and then trek
through over 15" of snow just to get back to the parking lot!!

If these newly translpanted southerners not only survived this,
but also HAD FUN with it, then they can probably
say they have passed their "New England initiation."
